arriving without unpacking

arriving without unpacking

Sometimes arriving doesn’t mean settling in.
You put your bag down,
but don’t open it.

You sit without arranging the space around you.
You don’t decide how long you’ll stay.

There’s relief in not committing to the moment.
Just being present enough
to notice where you are.

You can unpack later.
Or not at all.

For now,
arrival is enough.
